I was stuck too, I downloaded the code sight free windows edition and the tomcat server can't be started properly

Hi Experts here,

I'm new to Code Sight,as I tried to install Code Sight Free edition under Windows 7, at the end of the installation I always get the wrong message

"Black Duck CodeSight Tomcat can not be started

A system error has occurred.

System error 1067 has occurred.

The process terminated unexpectedly."

after that I tried to start tomcat manually, but it turned out that the solr/home and the database connector cant be found .

Can anyone help? Thanks!

Hello,

The Windows error 1067 is somewhat obscure and common. The Code Sight install most likely failed either due to permissions or database issue. Please gather the install logs e.g. BDS_IACA_codesight_server.log located in the folders C\:temp or local user account C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp.

Did you run the install as Administrator or user login w/ administrative privileges?

I did run the install as Administrator, btw. in the BDS_IACA_codesight_server.log file looks fine except the error message from Tomcat .
